At the seminar, Mr. Nguyễn Hoàng Hà, representative of CIC, presented a comprehensive overview of how AI is reshaping work in the construction sector— administration and legal tasks to engineering, execution, and field supervision. Beyond well-known generative AI tools like ChatGPT, Gemini, and Microsoft Copilot, the presentation featured impressive live demos showing how AI supports tasks such as writing reports, summarizing contracts, replying to emails, generating meeting minutes, and analyzing project risks.

Particularly noteworthy were industry-specific AI solutions such as OpenSpace – for 360° construction site monitoring using AI-integrated cameras; Architechtures – a generative AI-based platform for residential project design; and Autodesk Construction Cloud – a comprehensive project management platform powered by AI. These solutions received significant interest the Board’s leadership.
The seminar underscored the strong commitment to innovation both the leadership and staff of Ban DD&CN. Immediately following the session, Mr. Võ Đức Thanh, Director of the Board, requested that all departments seriously study and proactively implement AI in their specific work areas—starting administrative tasks to on-site supervision.
The Board’s leadership also expressed particular interest in the OpenSpace solution and reached an agreement with CIC to organize a specialized follow-up workshop focused on applying 360° cameras and AI for progress monitoring, image-based documentation, and support for construction acceptance—a set of challenges currently placing heavy pressure on many ongoing projects.
As a seasoned technology consulting partner to numerous public agencies, construction firms, and investors, CIC is committed to accompanying Ban DD&CN in deploying practical, cost-effective AI solutions that enhance operational efficiency.
